The safety of an imported food depends on several companies, not one. Here is who does what, so you know whom to ask for each document.
The chain, step by step

Production
Processing plants · Colombia and Ecuador
We work with contract processing plants. They process and freeze the fruit under HACCP and export certification. The same plants export to the USA (FDA-approved product), Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, China and Japan.

Import into Canada

We import under our own Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) licence, number 8N4VTY3L, issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). We are a company registered in Alberta.

Storage and delivery

The product is kept frozen at −18 °C and we deliver it frozen across Edmonton and the metro area.
How to check it yourself
SFC licences are public. Search for licence number 8N4VTY3L in the CFIA registry of Safe Food for Canadians licence holders.

Process certifications belong to our plants at origin. The Canadian import and distribution licence belongs to Latin Frozen Fruit Inc. We do not present anything as ours that is not.
